Now that Ive finished VIVA, I can write often....rindu betol nak blog...macam2 nak cerita dulu tapi bila fikir apa kena prioritize dulu, blogging was always at the end of the list..
Yesterday evening, at the supermarket, I was pushing the stroller when I overheard a boy said, " Eh...ano Mama chicchai (Eh, mak itu keciknya)"
hehhehe....Sabar je lah.
This morning, sangatlah sejuknya and I sent Fiya lambat sikit to hoikumama..Hoikumama bagitau M-chan siap telephone Fiya guna phone mainan:
M-chan : Safiya-chan, doshite mada konai no? Unchi desuka?(Fiya kenapa tak datang lagi ni, kamu poo poo ke?)
Kekkekekee...sangatlah comelnya...
I'm thinking of going back to teaching kids baliklah when I come back..but of course not with SM, but with others yang setanding dengannya. One of my parents in SM is now an instructor in Bangi so insya-Allah, if I tak dapat jugak Nestle, or UNICEF, I will join her... I feel so happy when I'm surrounded with kids yang petah bercakap ni...Since it requires mainly teaching and not nursing or babysitting, maybe I think I can cope...I'm also thinking of seriously opening my Islamic studies class in English(yang dah lama tinggal since I went to Jap)..I taught kids in PJ, DHeights, MKiara dulu...Budak2 ni punya English bagus betul...and I taught not only alif ba taa, but also singing, story telling, games, puzzles, FC and we did mazes from workbook..something I created from my experience in SM. Takdelah orang ingat bile Islamic Studies je mengaji...it is supposed to be more than that..Kalau kita belajar Sirah Nabi, sejarah perang dulu2...banyak yang kita boleh apply to hidup zaman sekarang...I especially remember sejarah Perang Uhud, yang Nabi suruh tentera2 pegi to the top of the hill so senang dapat tengok musuh, tapi tentera semua degil, tengok harta semua turun and ambik harta, last2 orang Islam kalah dalam perang tu...banyak teladan yang boleh belajar...satu sebab tak dengar cakap Nabi, satu lagi tamak dek harta....I felt that I become a much better Muslim when I was teaching them dulu, masa tu I can even remember maksud surah An-Nas, Uhud, Falaq, kalau buat story telling dulu, I checked balik facts from Quran, baru tahu rupanya Nabi Musa and Harun tu adik beradik..sekarang dah ingat2 lupa....Insya-Allah, instead of going from house to house like I did last time, I might operate from my own house in Kajang insya-Allah..The most important thing that I want Muslim kids to achieve is not only to learn and memorize the Quran, but to understand the meaning...and the Quran has all the scientific evidence that has already been approved by research..for e.g. breastfeeding for 2 years, breastfeeding can be a way to space children, ada special substance in sweat yang boleh cure penyakit mata (sejarah Nabi Yusuf and ayahnya yang buta, and bila kesat dengan baju Nabi Yusuf, ayahnya dah boleh melihat semula)....Insya-Allah kalau faham Quran, bila pegi umrah ke haji ke Imam baca surah panjang2, boleh lah menusuk di hati, kadang tu tengok orang Arab menangis2 bila surah dibaca dalam Quran, tapi kalau orang tak faham, mesti rasa lamanya baca surah ni, bila nak habis..Insya-Allah this will be my self-target jugak...To read and understand the meaning of Quran...Doakan ye kawan2..

I guess it's true that it's important to read and understand the Quran. It's also equally to know and understand the asbabun nuzul as well as to learn more about tafseer (which goes beyond merely understanding literal meaning) of Al-Quran...
[i tahu tu tahu - tapi kadang tak terbuat juga, hu hu hu]
but for me, reading the Quran without understanding the meaning is not meaningless - for all that we know, that might be the first step towards greater things. first one might start with reading the Quran first, then learn the meaning, then learn the asbabun nuzul and tafseer and then tries to apply lessons learned from the Quran in daily life... who knows?the miracle which is called Al-Quran simply defies one's normal mind...
Betul jugak! I totally agree with you!
